Communicating the GOOD project in the first six months…at a glance

GOOD aims to raise public awareness of the project through a range of strategically planned actions with the aim of communicating the impact and benefits of the project. Communication activities and tools will be implemented throughout the life of the project and beyond, making results accessible to internal and external stakeholders, as well as to the media and general public.

GOOD partners were really active during the first 6 months of the project by communicating and presenting the GOOD project to open field days, national events, international scientific meetings and conferences! We have spread the word in Europe and beyond, seeking new opportunities to make synergies with farmers, researchers and policymakers working in the fields of agroecology and sustainable weed management!

GOOD travelled until October 2023 to:

  • Athens (Greece) in May for the 21st Conference of the Weed Science Society of Greece;
  • Cambridge (United Kingdom) in May for the EWRS Workshop ‘Integrated Weed Management (IWM) systems in the agroecology context; new challenges’;
  • Gold Coast (Australia) in June for the 6th International EcoSummit Congress – EcoSummit 2023 – Building a sustainable and desirable future: Adapting to a changing land and sea-scape;
  • Milan (Italy) in June for the Kick-off meeting of the sister project AGROSUS;
  • Bologna (Italy) in July for the 14th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA);

We’ll keep it up!
